DESCRIPTION:The Fourth annual #keepbonesalive memorial run in honor of Ssgt. Louis Bonacasa. (Fidelium MC is an AMA social club comprised of Law Enforcement\,Veterans\,public servants and like minded individuals) Independent riders welcome! AFTER PARTY LOCATION 17 VAN HOUTON ST HAVERSTRAW NY 10927 \nStaff Sergeant Louis M. Bonacasa was killed in the line of duty on December 21\, 2015 while conducting outside-the-wire human intelligence operations near Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan. Staff Sgt. Bonacasa and Tech Sgt. Joseph Lemm heroically placed themselves between their team members and a terrorist’s explosive-laden motorcycle. Although they and four others lost their lives\, their actions saved the lives of two of their fellow team members and an Afghan Defender. Louis received the Bronze Star with Valor\, Purple Heart\, and made an Honorary Air Force Office of Special Investigations Special Agent. He enlisted in the Air Force after graduating from high school in 2002. In 2010\, he joined the 105th Airlift Wing and was assigned to the 105th Security Forces Squadron\, Stewart Air National Guard Base. He served four tours among Qatar\, Iraq and Afghanistan. He is survived by his wife Deborah\, who is a veteran\, and their daughter Lilianna. The Ssgt. Louis Bonacasa Memorial Fund\, Inc. is dedicated to honor Louis’ memory by helping to support Veterans\, Active Duty\, Reservist\, Gold Star / Blue Star families and other families in need. It was founded by gold star wife and USAF Iraq Veteran Deborah “Dee” Bonacasa.

SUMMARY:Ride for Kids
DESCRIPTION:The Motorcycle Ride for Kids is on Saturday\, June 18? This fundraiser will allow us to raise some money to replenish our Thanksgiving/Christmas account\, where we give out gift cards and provide a great meal for the kids in need and their families. Our destination is Thatcher Park https://parks.ny.gov/parks/thacher/details.aspx . We will take the scenic ride (100 mile round trip) through Cairo\, Middleburgh\, Berne\, Thatcher Park\, Guilderland\, Hudson\, Catskill\, and back to Saugerties. Rest stops at Middleburgh\, Thatcher\, TGI Fridays\, and Hudson. When we get to Thatcher Park\, we will have amazing views! Registration will take place between 9am-10am at the Mobil gas station (333 NY-212\, Saugerties\, NY 12477) across from CVS in Saugerties and kickstands up at 10:15am. We will eat at TGI Fridays \, 1475 Western Avenue\, Albany\, NY. I’m working on getting us a discount on food and drink. Registration is $10 per participant and everyone will be responsible for the purchase of their own food and drink. People who are not driving a motorcycle will have to meet us at Thatcher Park (Approximately 12:30pm) and TGI Fridays (Approximately 2pm). For safety reasons\, no one can follow the motorcycles.
